GATHER - Kirtan & Social with Ivana

Last Friday of the month, 6.30-8pm, £15
Next dates:
Friday 26th September & 28th November
This gathering is an evening of community, sacred sound vibration, mantra, kirtan chanting, and togetherness.
The word Mantra is derived from two Sanskrit roots; manas ‘mind’ and tra meaning ‘tool’. Mantra can teach the mind to become increasingly absorbed in that which is most essential. The Upanishads tell us that mantras can lead us towards healing, inspiration, transformation & and self-realisation.
"Mantra is a conversation between the self and divinity. All too often we separate ourselves from the divine, forgetting our truest nature. Chanting the names of God/Goddesses guides us back to a space of remembrance, of faith, devotion and love."
Kirtan - devotional, melodic call and response chanting in Sanskrit.
Calling upon the sacred sound allows your body and mind to absorb its resonance. Come and elevate yourself into a state of joy, unity, and deep connection.
Booking is essential as spaces are limited. Open to everyone and complete beginners are welcome.
A discounted rate is available for this offering if you are unable to pay the full price.

Sublime Teachings of Tantra with Ivana

Sundays, 3-5.30p.m, £27 per session
Next date:
TBC- Śakti Sādhanā
Step out of the everyday and into the living current of shakti (power, energy, or the dynamic creative force). From a non-dual perspective, shakti is not something separate we summon; it is the dynamic, creative pulse of the same reality that is stillness and awareness ~ the movement of life itself.
This gathering is an invitation to meet mantra, prana and subtle body practices as living gateways rather than techniques to master, to sit in the fire of shakti (in this case, kundalini shakti) and remember what has been inherently here all along.
We will move through:
-
Mantra & japa – attuning to the vibration of sound
-
Breath, bandha, mudra & asana – gathering, refining and directing prana shakti/vital force
-
Meditation & self-inquiry – space to integrate what arises
-
Insights into traditional Tantric teachings, made accessible and embodied
The intention is to co-create a held, awake space where we can soften into a surrender, and the sacredness touched in practice can infuse everyday life.
Spaces are limited. Book here or contact Ivana: contact@yogawithivana.co.uk

Winter Wellness Day Retreat, R.E.S.T.
Restoration • Education • Satiation • Tenderness
Winter naturally asks us to pause, reflect, and soften. Through grounded movement, seasonal insights, and time to simply be, you’ll learn how to tend to yourself with care and align your lifestyle with the quieter pace of nature.
You’ll be introduced to simple Ayurvedic routines (vihar & dinacharya) that support immunity, digestion, and emotional steadiness - daily practices that help you feel anchored and well through the winter months.
Our morning session will blend Yin Yoga and Myofascial Release - slow, supported postures and gentle release techniques designed to unravel deep tension and ease you into restorative stillness. A practice that allows your body to rest, your mind to quieten, and your nervous system to settle.
In the afternoon, you'll be guided through Yoga Nidra, a deeply restful inner journey. It’s an invitation to return to balance, rebuild trust in your inner rhythm, and rest into the quiet of winter.
Throughout the day, you'll be nourished with warm digestive teas and a simple, nourishing lunch (GF & Vegan options available), supporting satiation and gentle digestion. Shared in a space that allows for silence, reflection, or warm connection.
The Ayurveda sessions offer seasonal wisdom and practical insights, designed to be clear, grounding, and immediately useful, with space for questions and personal reflections.
Above all, this retreat invites tenderness ~ tending to the heart, softening the edges, and meeting yourself just as you are in a supportive space of community.
Day Itinerary:
9.30–11.15 AM - Yin Yoga & Myofascial Release: Unravelling into Stillness
11.30–12 PM - Ayurvedic Tips: Winter Digestion & Mindful Eating

Explore Oil Therapies for Vitality, Immunity & Replenishment ~ OJAS
Ayurveda emphasises snehana (warm oil application) as essential for health and longevity, as it calms vata dosha, helps to moisturise, lubricate and remove toxins (ama).
Why You Would Want to Know These Practices?
Life today can leave us feeling drained, ungrounded, and disconnected from our own bodies. Stress, long hours, rushing around, poor sleep, travel, and constant digital stimulation all contribute to our energy and vitality being depleted. Ayurveda teaches that much of this strain comes from the gradual loss of ojas, our vital essence, and imbalances in our natural energies (doshas).
The oil therapies you will explore and learn in this workshop are the antidote to everything mentioned above. Abhyanga (whole body massage), nasya (nasal oiling), gandusha (oil pulling), karna purana (ear oiling), nabhi chikitsa (navel oiling), and scalp and foot massage with marma points are far more than trendy wellness “bio-hacks.”
They are practical tools rooted in ancient wisdom to replenish your body and mind, deeply nourishing your tissues, calming your nervous system, and building resilience from the inside out.
Beyond the physical benefits, these practices support your senses and mind. Nasya and sculp massage help clear mental fog – which invites clarity and focus, support hair growth, and reduce fatigue, while oil pulling and abhyanga strengthen immunity, oral health, and overall vitality. Karna purana helps soothe tension around the ears and head, supporting balance and sensory calm, while nabhi chikitsa supports circulation in the lower belly and can be especially grounding and nourishing for hormonal balance. Best of all, each practice can be personalised to your constitution, the seasons, and your current state, making this kind of self-care truly effective, sustainable and enjoyable.
These rituals offer a space to slow down and reconnect with yourself. In the quiet, intentional act of oiling and massaging, you cultivate presence (calming the vata dosha a big time!), self-connection, and a daily rhythm. This is a time-tested path to balance, rejuvenation, and longevity.
This workshop is for you if you want to:
-
Reverse depletion and build vitality & immunity (ojas)
-
Calm and regulate your nervous system
-
Improve the quality of your sleep
-
Support your senses and brain function
-
Prevent aches, joint, and muscle issues
-
Enhance natural detoxification and digestion
-
Cultivate a ritual that deepens your connection to yourself
Don’t worry - you won’t have to spend a fortune on oils! I will share reliable, accessible sources so you can incorporate these rituals easily at home, plus you will receive a gift to get you started right away!
Investment:
3-hour workshop with tea and a small gift included – £45,
Or stay for an extra hour and enjoy lunch with us – £54
Spaces are limited. Book here or contact Ivana: contact@yogawithivana.co.uk
