GATHER - Kirtan & Social with Ivana

Gather, Kirtan and Socia, Norwich.jpg

Last Friday of the month, 6.30-8pm, £12

Next dates:

Friday 31st January, 28th February

This gathering is an evening of community, sacred sound vibration, mantra, kirtan chanting, and togetherness.

The word Mantra is derived from two Sanskrit roots; manas ‘mind’ and tra meaning ‘tool’. Mantra can teach the mind to become increasingly absorbed in that which is most essential. The Upanishads tell us that mantras can lead us towards healing, inspiration, transformation & and self-realisation.

"Mantra is a conversation between the self and divinity. All too often we separate ourselves from the divine, forgetting our truest nature. Chanting the names of God/Goddesses guides us back to a space of remembrance, of faith, devotion and love."

Kirtan - devotional, melodic call and response chanting in Sanskrit.

Calling upon the sacred sound allows your body and mind to absorb its resonance. Come and elevate yourself into a state of joy, unity, and deep connection.

Booking is essential as spaces are limited. Open to everyone and complete beginners are welcome.

A discounted rate is available for this offering if you are unable to pay the full price.

Sacred Fire.jpg

Saturday or Sunday 3-5.30p.m, £27 per session

Next dates: â€‹

Sunday 8th December & Saturday 8th February - Ignite the Sacred Fire

Join Ivana in this extended practice that blends the rich tapestry of Tantric Hatha Yoga, Kriya Meditation, Mantra, and Yoga philosophy. This masterclass invites you to delve into Tantra's profound power and sublime teachings.

This practice combines intentional and centring asana to connect with and build your life force, pranayama, and the resonant sound of the harmonium, merging seamlessly with the reverberating pulse of the universe. The session will close with a tantric meditation technique that draws you into quietude and heightened awareness, igniting the sacred fire within to recognise and abide in your true essence.

This practice will be very much inspired by Ivana's upcoming trip to India, where she will visit sacred pilgrimages and deepen her practice. A Puja (offering) and Havan (fire ceremony) may also be part of this experience.

With reverence and compassion, she creates a safe and nurturing space for you to access your inner wisdom, find inspiration, and tap into your innate capacity for healing, transformation and self-recognition.

You will gain knowledge and experience of:

  • Techniques that make you 'shine'

  • Increased self-awareness

  • Knowing how to integrate these teachings to evolve your spiritual practice and most importantly your daily life

But this practice is not just about knowing; it's about experiencing the 'unknown' and building trust -shraddha- in this process of Life.

Yoga & Ayurveda Day Retreat with Ivana

Ayurveda & Yoga, Norwich_edited.jpg

Next dates:

22nd February *full with a waitlist, 12th April 9.30-3.30 p.m

Welcome to a day of nourishment, inspiration, and a new way of experiencing health through the timeless wisdom of Yoga and Ayurveda. This day retreat invites you to align with the nature’s pace through restoration, learning, and gaining the tools to take your well-being into your own hands.

During this retreat, you’ll explore how our sadhana (spiritual practice) and Ayurvedic principles can support hormonal balance and emotions. You'll also discover how seasonal living and digestive health impact everything—from food digestion and hormone production to emotional processing and the power of consciousness.

The morning yoga practice will focus on restoration with nurturing, longer-held poses integrated with pranayama, sound, and mantra, ending with a healing, intuitive energy meditation. The afternoon session includes a lecture followed by a collective pause for rest, accompanied by Ayurvedic treatment.

Throughout the day, you’ll enjoy digestive herbal teas and a soulful balanced bowl for lunch (GF & V options available), all crafted to support your digestion and rekindle your agni (digestive fire) after the holiday season. Take this time to pause, reflect, and simply rest in a state of 'being' rather than constant doing.

The lectures are practical and will help you tap into your innate wisdom. You’ll receive handouts and have the opportunity for discussion, questions, and answers, all designed to help you deepen your understanding and know yourself just a little bit more.

Day Itinerary:

9.30–11.15 AM – Rest & Balance Hormones - practice geared to aid the health of your endocrine system
